"Edo Glass" is traditional glass craftsmanship made using skills passed down in the Edo area during the Edo period. "Edo" is the old name for present-day "Tokyo."

It was officially recognized as Japanese Traditional Craft Products by the Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry in November 2014.
